… By road

From Basel & Zürich

Take the motorway towards Lucerne, where you turn off onto the A8 towards Interlaken. From Sarnen, the cantonal road takes you over the scenic Brünig Pass to Meiringen. You can reach your destination in approx. 30 minutes from Sarnen.

The Brünig Pass is also open in winter. Please check the information from theTCS road condition report.

From Bern & Interlaken

Take the A6 motorway towards Spiez, where you change onto the A8 towards Interlaken. From Interlaken, the well-maintained cantonal road along Lake Brienz takes you directly to Meiringen. From Interlaken you can reach your destination in approx. 25 minutes.

... By rail

You can reach Meiringen comfortably and easily by train (hourly connections) through Basel or Zürich via Lucerne, the Brünig Pass to Meiringen or through Bern via Interlaken to Meiringen.

The Hotel Victoria is just a few minutes' walk from the railway station.

There is a car park for our guests directly at the hotel. Reservation is not required. The car park costs CHF 5.00 per night.
